Award Assessment Process

ACCAB National Safe School Award is intended for: 

The Schools, Colleges, Universities and Other Education & Training Institutions to state publicly that they have voluntarily adopted ACCAB’s School Safety Balance Scorecard to assess and continually improve the maturity levels of their school safety initiatives

ACCAB Award Assessment Process:

The Award assessment process deployed by ACCAB shall accommodate the Schools of all sizes and carrying out wide range of activities. ACCAB Award services are accessible to all Schools whose requests for Award fall within the activities and the limitations as defined within ACCAB’s policies and rules.

How to Apply for National Safe School Award:

The Award process starts with the filing of the duly completed Expression of Interest Form (EOI) and is followed by Pre Assessment and onsite assessment. The process is concluded with the decision on Award.

The applicant should read and understand ACCAB’s Award Scheme Manual especially the Requirements for Granting and Maintaining Award and the Current Fee Structure before submitting the application in the prescribed format. The process chart given below is for indicative purpose only. It is expected that the applicant schools have a specific & assured plan of action for obtaining the ACCAB Award and nominate a senior & accountable person to co-ordinate all activities related to the Award accreditation process.

ACCAB’s National Safe SchoolAward is granted to the School who have demonstrated that they fully meet the requirements of ACCAB’s School Safety Balance Scorecard at a particular maturity level.
